Original burial entry in sexton's ledger book shows: a child of James ABNEY was born in Georgia, died aged 1 year of teething, and was buried 16 JUN 1879 in Pauper Ground as a resident of Columbus, Georgia (so probably born and died there). The sexton was Abraham ODOM.
This grave is evidently not identifiably marked. Indigent burials were scattered throughout the cemetery, not concentrated in a particular part.
