In the late 80's, She began dementia, which led to altzeimer's. My Uncle Ronnie,My father and of course the whole family were so sad that they had to place her in a nursing home. Unfortanelty, she was mistreated and abused in this nursing and so My dad took the people who ran the place to court, and it was Televised on national Televion on Judge Wapner's show. My dad won. It was the most intense episode of his show. People throughout The United States were affected by it. My dad was very powerful and strong in his eyes, and revealed the truth about these horrible, disgusting people. Throughout the televised court trial, it looked at times he was going to beat the crap out of those horrible people, but he didn't, he was real composed. I'm sure this ran over and over again on television and Judge Wapner received lots of letters. What's neat is those awful people were exposed for not only abusing my Grandmother, but other elders as well.
Everyone was real sad when my grama died, but it was her time to go and thank God she wasnt physcially suffering. She barely knew who anyone was, but when she did recognize you, she would hug you so tight and kiss you and make sure you knew that she loved you very much!
That's what I still so sweet and loved to hug us. The thing I remember the most is she always wanted to spend more time with me.
