Sara Katherine Amos, 96,passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 14, 2021 in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on August 21, 1925 in Lebanon, Kentucky to Foster and Martha Ramsey.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Amos; a son, James Anderson; brothers, Charles Ramsey and Ray Ramsey Jr.; and sisters, Mary Lyons and Norma Caulk.
Sara is survived by two sons, Glenn (Sara) Amos and David (Sylvia) Amos; grandchildren, Glenn Jr. (Jenna) Amos, Hope (Ben) Rice, Tyler (Allison) Amos, Chris (Battina) Anderson, Mark Anderson; six great-grandchildren, Graham Amos, Griffin Amos, Emelyn Amos, Maggie May Rice, Sara Jade Anderson,Tori Anderson with her seventh great-grandson on the way, Rhys Amos; siblings, Judy Reynolds and Joe (Margie) Ramsey.
Visitations will be held Monday, October 18, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Funeral Service will be at Noon on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the funeral home with burial to follow in New Albany National Cemetery.
