On Tuesday, October 05, 2021 after a two-year battle with lung cancer, Patricia Ann Stovall Middleton departed life at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Patricia was born on November 01, 1946 in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Wilford and Catherine Stovall, Sr.

Patricia was educated within the Baltimore Public School system and a dedicated employee of General Maintenance Corporation; she retired in 1996.

Patricia met and married Sgt. Carl Middleton, Jr. known as "Middleton" in 1968. They spent their first military tour in Hawaii and then returned after 3 years where they settled in Maryland.

"Trish, Trisha, Mrs. Pat, and The Hammer" are a few names she was affectionately called by many. She enjoyed gambling, playing cards, dancing, socializing (talking), listening to oldies but goodies, and good food.

Trisha had a big personally and to be within her circle gave you an "old school kind of lovin'". Her infectious spirit touched your soul to its core, even if you only spent a second with her.

Patricia Ann Stovall Middleton was memorable and will be greatly missed; our lives will never be the same without her.

Those who will cherish fond memories forever are her husband Carl Jr.; sons Lee "Lee-Lee" (Bonita) and Carl "Coochie" Middleton, III (Jihee), step-son Alston Middleton (Theresa), one daughter, Tamika Middleton, and special-niece Felicia "Lisa" Fullard (Troy); Grandchildren Keisha, Alexander, Tyler, Monica, Naykia, Joshua, Laila, Eryn, Nicholas and Tori; great-grandson Amaurie; Sisters Willa Griffin (deceased and Anthony "Tony" (deceased)), Fannie Stovall (deceased), Sheila Elaine Jones (Michael), and Kim Smith (Reginald); Sister-in-Law Sandra Middleton-Draw; Brothers Calvin "Bro" Stovall (deceased), Wilford "Poochie" Stovall, Jr. (deceased), and Michael "Sloopy" Stovall (deceased); Best friends Carolyn Green, Elizabeth Johnson, Betty Brown, Bernice Payne, Bonnie Scott; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Family and friends will unite on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 9:00am until time of service 10:00am at Briscoe-Tonic Funeral Home, 2294 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD.
