Besides her son Joe, her greatest passion was basketball. She was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and could tell you practically anything about them!
She was kindhearted and quiet, and remained steadfast in her duties to her son, her hobbies, and her choir ministry. She had many friends in the Southern California deaf community.
