Harold Leroy Alexander, 88, of Rarden, Ohio passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Clermont Mercy Hospital. He was born September 17, 1934, in Rarden, Ohio to the late Earl Alexander and Esta Mae Taylor Alexander Robinson. On August 22, 1959, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Ann Hibbs Alexander who preceded him in death on November 19, 1999.

Surviving is his children, Michelle Alexander of Rarden, Krista Smith and husband Jimmy of Peebles, Ohio, and H.L. Alexander II and wife Veronica of Winchester, Ohio; grandchildren, Tori and Ty Smith, and Grace Alexander; great-grandson, Grayson Grooms; and a sister, Glenna Cooper of Bainbridge, Ohio. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma Jean White and Mary Rhodes, and a brother, Paul Alexander.

Harold was a retired construction worker and attended Beech Fork Church in Otway.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Pastor Tom Brown and Doug Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mustard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
