Carolyn "Cari" Kay Acton, 61, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, surrounded by her family at home.
She was born November 6, 1959, in Waterloo, Iowa, a daughter of the late Donald Shields Bindseil & Shirlee Evelyn (Anderson) Bindseil.
Cari was united in marriage on July 29, 1983, in Columbia, Missouri, to Carl "Bud" Clifton Acton, who survives at the home.
Cari was a homemaker and loved to spend time with her children & grandchildren. She also loved her pets.
Cari is also survived by four children: Jamie Nicole Robb (husband Tate) of Ashland, MO; Joshua Shane Bindseil (wife Andrea) of Canton, MO; Stephanie Kay Acton of Columbia, MO; Carl Clifton Acton, Jr. of Columbia, MO; two sisters: Cheryl Morrow of Apache Junction, AZ; Cindy Murphy (husband Denis) of Surprise, AZ; one brother: Steve Bindseil (wife Victoria) of Kansas City, MO; seven grandchildren: Ella Carolyn Robb of Ashland, MO; Joshua Nathaniel Acton of Columbia, MO; Cooper Mason Bindseil of Canton, MO; Lily Stolarz of Canton, MO; Skylar Stolarz of Canton, MO; Samuel Robb (wife Andrea) of St. Louis, MO; and Paige Robb of Columbia, MO; a niece: Stacey Pratt (husband Wayne) of Palmyra, PA; and two nephews: Travis Morrow of Marana, AZ and Todd Morrow (wife Jami) of Mesa, AZ.
Cari was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister: Catherine "Cathy" Bindseil.
