Born September 7, 1929, in Maxwell, Texas, Victoria worked for many years at West Point Pepperell. After she retired from West Point Pepperell, she worked well into her 70's at her favorite job as a nanny for many children who lovingly called her "Nana."
Victoria was a devoted, Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and child caretaker. Even as a young girl, she lived her life to care for her family and friends. She always had an open door to whomever needed it and continued to do so throughout her life. Many looked to her for guidance or just a place where they would be comforted. She was a hard working woman who enjoyed her family, gardening, birds, cooking and the church.
She is survived by her grandsons Ezell and Marco Sanchez and their spouses Nicole and Kristin Sanchez; great grandchildren Preston, Bella, and Gracie Martinez; Sophia Sanchez, and Zane Sanchez; family members Isidoro and Bertha Delgado of Mountain City, TX; Diego and Mary Cortez of Kyle, TX; Mario and Francis Castillo of Tucson, AZ, Matilde and Valentine Sanchez of Maxwell, TX; Miriam and Craig Cooper of Utah; Judy and Larry Seibert of Aurora, CO, Maria Hernandez, and many cousins, nieces and nephews who she loved very much.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paulino Sanchez and her son Armando C. Sanchez. No formal service will be held at this time. A family service will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
Condolences may be sent to 573 Beverly Lane, New Braunfels, TX 78130.
