Anna "Bugs" Hostettler-Acree, 94, entered eternal life on the evening of Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Maple Manor Christian Home in Sellersburg. She was born at home in Sellersburg on March 12, 1927 to the late Joseph and Cora Ehringer (Kaelin). Bugs was a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church of Sellersburg (St. Paul Campus) where she was a former Choir member. She worked as a Hostess at the Derby Dinner Play House of Jeffersonville for many years. Bugs had a green thumb and was known for her beautiful roses. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl "Buster" Hostettler, by her second husband, Marion Acree, by her grandson, William "Tripp" Haller III and by her sister, Helen Thomas.

Survivors include her sons, Gary Hostettler (Sharon) of Memphis, Indiana, Russ Hostettler (Brenda) of Memphis, her daughter, Gail Loveall (Mike) of Clarksville, Indiana and her sister, Norma "Tunnie" Kamer of Sellersburg. Bugs also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren to cherish her memory.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Campus) in Sellersburg with interment to follow in the church Cemetery.
