Mr. Timothy Jay Cook, 60, of Bamberg Highway near Hampton, died Wednesday morning, September 8, 2021, in Hampton Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Cook was born October 15, 1960 in Hampton County, a son of the late James Robbie Cook, Sr. and Lois Aline Belger Cook. He was a construction worker and a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church. Mr. Cook was a talented musician who had played with the bands Back Roads and Shadows.

Surviving is his daughter, Caroline Lauren Cook of Islandton; brothers, James Ricky Cook and wife Paula of Grays, Chris Cook and wife Cathy of Varnville and Andy Cook and wife Carlene of Hampton; grandchildren, Charlie Timothy Cook and Matthew Levi Bishop; and his companion, Leslie Baker.

Graveside services will be 4 PM Sunday in Crocketville Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.

Visitation will be immediately following the service at the cemetery.

The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to Sandy Run Baptist Church, 2100 Sandy Run Road, Hampton, SC 29924.
