Maria A. Harrison, age 18, of Woodlynne, N.J. died Saturday December 22, 2001 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident. Born in Bristol, Pa., she lived most of her life in the Bristol area before moving to New Jersey one year ago. Maria had attended the Bucks County Technical School in Levittown.

She is survived by her daugther, Alyciah Harrison; her mother Jeanette Harrison; three sisters, Keisha, Naomi and Tasha Harrison; four nephews and one niece; her aunts Diane Woodward, Tracy and May Lewis; and her cousins, Salena, Angela and Samuel Lewis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her service on Monday, December 31, 101 at 1 p.m. at the Molden Funeral Chapel, Inc., 133 Otter Street, Bristol, Pa. Interment Bristol Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 12-1 p.m. There are no calling hours.

An 18-year-old New Jersey woman who was critically injured in a head-on collision Saturday morning on Route 61 in Schuylkill County died Saturday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Maria A. Harrison of Woodlynne died of head injuries, according to Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim, who ruled the death accidental.

Harrison was one of three passengers in a car that collided with a pickup truck about 8:45 a.m. in North Manheim Township, police said.

The other passengers, D'Anna L. DeRolf, 18, of Bristol, and Peace Chenery, 25, of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., and driver Donte L. Stevenson, 19, of Bronx, N.Y., died at the scene.

Stevenson, who was driving north, crossed into the southbound lanes for an unknown reason and collided head-on with a truck driven by Richard W. Schroeder, 49, of 26 E. Pine St., Mahanoy City.

Schroeder was in satisfactory condition Sunday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
