Iva E. Ferrell
Funeral services for Iva Ferrell, 89, of Sulphur Springs, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 10, at the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gary House officiating. Burial followed in the Emblem Cemetery.
Mrs. Ferrell died late Friday night at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home in Sulphur Springs.
She was born July 16, 1903 in Fayetteville, Ark. To John C. and Lou McKee Balcom. She was married to William S. Ferrell. he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ferrell was a housewife and a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, J.G. Ferrell of Irving and Ronald and Norman Ferrell of Sulphur Springs; one daughter, Sue Daniels of Yantis; three brothers, Estes Balcom of Indiana, Ben Balcom of Arkansas and Ray Balcom of Michigan; three sisters, Erma Bowling of Indiana, Dorothy Henley of Houston and Delane Balcharski of Indiana; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
