Rickey Ferrell
Services for Rickey Joe Ferrell, 16, of the Birthright community will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home, to be followed by burial in Posey Cemetery.
He was born in Sulphur Springs May 25, 1962, to Ray and Pauline Riley Ferrell. He was a junior at North Hopkins High School, where he was a member of the basketball team. The youth was active in the Future Farmers of America program.
Survivors include his parents; brothers Charles Ray, Stevie and Jackie Ferrell; sisters, Mrs. Rose Mary Coleman of Sulphur Springs and Mrs. Patty Williams of Birthright; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Homer Ferrell of Route 3 and Mrs. Martin Riley.
Services will be conducted by the Rev. Jackie McQueen. Cousins will serve as pallbearers.
