CHERRY VALLEY — James E. Sanders, 85, resident of Cherry Valley died Sunday, November 25, 2007 in Jonesboro.
He was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Cherry Valley, the son of Lawrence Earnest and Mattie Elizabeth (Anderson) Sanders. He married Miss Charline Kendall on July 7, 1947.
Survivors include his wife, Charline; four sons, Larry, Richard, Donnie and Gary Sanders; daughter, Kathy Haynes; brother, Lawrence Sanders; 16 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will be in Vanndale Cemetery at Vanndale. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home; telephone, (870) 238-9400.
