Samuel's main interest in life was centered around the spritual things, even so much so that the greatest consolation he received during his last hours were the words of the Scriptures read to him by his family. All through his married life he taught and studied the Bible with his family day by day. He "so let his light shine" throughout the years that he was instermental in encouraging family to preach the word. Many of his son in laws , sons and his grandsons are excellent preachers.
In fact, although perhaps all are not as as faithful as they should be, with very few exceptions, each of his descendants, from the age of accountability upward, are members of the body of Christ. This is a wonderful tribute to his consecrated Christian life.
