The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene for Clarence Stewart of Eugene. He died Nov. 18 of age-related causes at age 84. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery in Eugene.

He was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Milwaukie to Clarence and Ruby Mott Stewart. He married Pat Deffenbacheron July 9, 1983, in Eugene.

He graduated from Eugene High School in 1941 and served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a carpenter with the Oregon Washington Carpenters Local 1273, working on commercial and residential construction in the Eugene area.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Dianne Martin of Creswell; two stepsons, Leo Deffenbacher of Creswell and Peter Deffenbacher of Portland; a sister, Marjorie Peterson of Junction City; a brother, Conrad Stewart of Eugene; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. His wife, Pat, died May 25, 1999.
