Dana Beachnau, age 61, passed away, Monday, August 2, 2021. Dana was born, October 2, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan the son of William and Donna (Rocheleau) Beachnau. A Lansing area resident all his life, he worked at ABC Warehouse for 30 plus years. He and his wife, Carmen, attended St. Casimir Catholic Church until its closing and recently St. Gerard Catholic Church. Dana influenced his community through his involvement with Holt Junior Rams basketball and football teams and genuinely cared about everyone he interacted with. He made a lasting impression on his community, family, and his "thousands" of friends. A loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Dana was preceded in death by his father, William Beachnau in 2007; step mother, Margaret Beachnau and brother-in-law, Doug Lasher. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carmen; mother, Donna Beachnau; sons, Travis (Jourdan), Taylor and Tanner; brother, Gordon (Lori); sisters, Renee (Bobby) Sessions and Rochelle Beachnau; grandchildren, Max and Zeke; sister-in-law, Renee (Ron) Sartori; Matt Family; Tom, Jim, Karen, George, Bill and extended family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 11:00 AM at St. Gerard Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Robert Bacik as celebrant. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to a charity of one's choice in memory of Dana.
