Gladys Leila Rabon Faulk, 85, died Monday, May 26, 2003, at Conway Medical Center after an illness.
She was born April 28, 1918, in Loris, a daughter of the late Bud Rabon and Ella Marlowe Rabon.
She was the widow of Quincy Geer Faulk. She was a homemaker and a member of Live Oak Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Leta Elliott and her husband, Howard B., of Loris; a sister, Daisy Blackburn of Loris; three granddaughters, Dianne Rabon and her husband, Joe, of Thomasville, NC, Linda Fowler and her husband, Wendell, of Loris, and Wanda Marlowe of Loris; three great-grandchildren, Amanda Fowler of Loris and Tracy Rabon and Jeremy Rabon, both of Thomasville; two great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Causey of Loris and Ethan Rabon of Thomasville; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hardwick Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Cane Branch Cemetery. the Rev. roger Chestnut and the Rev. Sam Lloyd Sarvis will officiate.
