Ernest Dee Neill Sr., 58, of Levelland died April 1, 2004. He was born Dec. 30, 1945, in Lubbock to Ettie Turner Neill and Perry Alvis Neill. He married Frances Kesey on July 25, 1969, in Anton. Ernest was a lifelong Texan, living in Levelland for the past 55 or so years. He was a truck driver, recently driving for Navijo Refinery. He was a Vietnam War veteran, having served in the Army. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Frances of Levelland; sons, Charles Neill of Crowell, Tex., and Ernest Dee Neill Jr. of Lubbock; a grandson, Skylar Neill; a granddaughter, Madison Neill; his mother, Ettie Turner Neill of Levelland; and a brother, Don Neill of Levelland.

Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, April 5, at First Baptist Church in Levelland. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Vernon. Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jack Mackey, Donald Caddell, Billy C ox, Gordon Bohannon, Blaine McDonald, Tracy Blount, and Gary Melberg.
