Joe Lynn Foster was born in Stamford and reared in Aspermont where he graduated from high school in 1956. He attended U.C.L.A. After working for Swinney Glass for over ten years, he worked for sixteen years at Tex-Oma Building Supply. He married Sharon Bachman April 14, 1962 in Petrolia, Texas. He was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church and the Abilene Country Club. He was a past Jaycee State Treasurer and a member of the Military Affairs Committee where he served as food chairman of the Dyess Bar-B-Que for over ten years. For many years he had been an active golfer.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Jeff and his wife, Jill of Rowlett; two grandchildren, Corbin and Lindsey of Rowlett; one sister, Carole Ann (Foster) Davis of Nashville, and several nieces and nephews.
