Funeral for Christopher Glen Wood, 11, will be at 10 a.m. today at the First Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Colville, Wash. Graveside service will follow at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville is in charge of arrangements.


Christopher, who was born in Colville, died last week.


He attended Astor Elementary School and Hofstetter Middle School, both in Colville, before moving to the Spokane Valley. He most recently had been a fifth-grade student at East Farms Elementary School.


Christopher was a Cub Scout.


Survivors include his mother, Jolynne Wood of Colville; five sisters, Kassie Wood of Newman Lake, Theresa, Brianna and Sydney Wood, all of Colville, and Brandie Wood of Spokane; a brother, Robert Wood Jr., of Colville; and his grandparents, Glen and Jean Wood of Colville.
