Funeral services were held January 10, 1984 for Luella Melvina Acock.
Mrs. Acock, 87, died Thursday, January 5, 1984 in Hermiston at the Good Samaritan Center.
A lifelong Morrow County resident, she was born in Heppner Dec. 29, 1896 to Albert and Sarah Stamp. She moved to Irrigon in 1929.
Her husband Charles died in 1954; a daughter Bunnie L. Strong in 1976 and three sons: Robert in 1937, Fred in 1976 and Charles Jr. in 1978.
Mrs Acock is survived by three sons: Dean of Irrigon, Don of Portland and Ralph of Minneapolis, Kan:, three daughters: Betty Shoun of Pendelton, Merry Nerove of Bakersfield, Calif. and Grace O'Brien of Longview, Wash; 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Center in Hermiston.
