VENABLE, Regina Theresa Rodgers, 66, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 16, 2007. She was married to Wilbert Thomas Venable, who preceded her in death, along with two children, a daughter, Regina "Bert" Venable; a son, Glenn A. Venable. Her legacy lives on in the fond memories of her three sons, Anthony (Cheryl) Rodgers, Kevin E. Venable, and W. Bryant (Dianna) Venable; three daughters, Margaret (Russell) Dandridge, Joyce (Calvin) Venable, and Elder Cheryl (James) Fleetwood of Smyrna, Georgia; one stepdaughter, Terlene (Harvey) Crawley; two brothers, Coleman F. (Inez) Rodgers of Fanwood, New Jersey, and Elder Carter L. (Regina) Rodgers; one devoted sister, Margaret A. Rodgers; two sisters-in-law, Joyce V. (James) and Edith V. Smith; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends, amongst them a devoted daughter-in-law and primary caregiver, Diana Venable. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Boulevard. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m. at Fresh Anointing Cathedral at 3101 Second Avenue. Pastor Larry Miles, officiating. Eulogist, Elder Cheryl V. Fleetwood Remains will rest in church one hour prior to the service. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
