She made good use of her summer vacations by traveling the world. After 25 years of teaching, her adventurous spirit led her to achieve much more. She pursued real estate and even took flying lessons to become a pilot. Now, her next adventure is a heavenly one.
She reunites with her husband Arthur S. Dobbs; parents, John and Ida Weber; sister, Edna Lovelace.
Verna leaves behind her nephews and niece: John Lovelace, Kathleen Martinez, husband Jaime, and James Lovelace, wife Sue; great nephews and nieces: James Martinez, Joseph Martinez, John Martinez, wife Kayleigh, Katherine Richter, husband Justin, Matthew Martinez, Mark Martinez, Ashleigh Lovelace, Zachary Lovelace, Amanda Lovelace, and Jacob Lovelace.
A visitation will be on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service to begin at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
