Verna Marie Weber Dobbs

Verna Marie Weber Dobbs, was born in Mason, Iowa on April 16, 1931 and passed away on August 11, 2022 in Webster, TX at the age of 91. She was a longlife resident of Chicago, Ill and attended St. Eugene Catholic Church.

A very self-motivated individual, she obtained her first degree in business. She later went into teaching and received her master's in education. She made good use of her summer vacations by traveling the world. After 25 years of teaching, her adventurous spirit led her to achieve much more. She pursued real estate and even took flying lessons to become a pilot. Now, her next adventure is a heavenly one.

She reunites with her husband Arthur S. Dobbs; parents, John and Ida Weber; sister, Edna Lovelace.

Verna leaves behind her nephews and niece: John Lovelace, Kathleen Martinez, husband Jaime, and James Lovelace, wife Sue; great nephews and nieces: James Martinez, Joseph Martinez, John Martinez, wife Kayleigh, Katherine Richter, husband Justin, Matthew Martinez, Mark Martinez, Ashleigh Lovelace, Zachary Lovelace, Amanda Lovelace, and Jacob Lovelace.

A visitation will be on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a service to begin at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX.
