Ronald Lee "Ron" Pate 45, of Wingate, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007. Mr. Pate was born on December 18, 1961 in Harbor City, California, a son of James Anderson Pate of Palm Springs, California and Dortha Black Wilson of Quail Valley, California. Ron grew up in Huntington Beach, California, where he attended Edison High School. Ron was a dedicated employee of Poly Plastics Products Inc. of Marshville, North Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Janice Pate of Wingate; two sons, Robynn Lee Pate of Irvine, California and Zackary Pate of Wingate; a sister, Pamela Lauber and her husband Dr. Martin Lauber of Fresno, California; a brother, William "Bill" Pate of Quail Valley, California; sisters, Patti Bowlin of San Diego, California and Danielle Eastmond of Newport Beach, California; brothers Todd Pate of Santa Ana, California and Travis Pate of Newport Beach. His nieces and nephews include: Brittany and Danielle Lauber, Brandon Rego, Maren, Tommy, and Jimmy Eastmond, Cristina Pate and Ariel Pate. Ron loved life and definitely lived it full throttle. His quick wit and charisma will always be remembered.
