G-Granddaughter of Seaborn Jones Sharpless & Sarah Amanda Wolfe. G-G-Granddaughter of Thomas W. Sharpless & Nancy Weatherford. Waldine was the wife of Earl Argroves.

ARGROVES: Waldine Amanda Argroves, age 79, of Grayson, GA., a beloved mother, sister, and friend passed away November 13, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Argroves and is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Geoff Sandels of Grayson, GA, Laura and Steve Pittman of Brunswick, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Janice Argroves of Memphis, TN, Lamar Argroves of Jasper, GA, Barry and Kay Argroves of Bostwick, GA; sisters, Joyce Hogg of Crestview, FL, Carolyn Smith of Atmore, AL, Lynn and Tyron Fralic of Atmore, AL, Brenda and David Cruce of Loganville, GA; brothers, Carlton and Virginia Sharpless of Atmore, AL, Jack and Betty Sharpless of Atmore, AL, Ron and Margaret Sharpless of Gautier, MS; beloved in-laws, Kelly and Inez Reagin of Lithonia, GA, Kathleen Harkins of Hudson, FL; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Argroves was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church in Centerville, GA for 44 years and was active in the choir and Sunday School until September of 2007. She was a member of the Chat and Chew and the Red Hat Society. She loved to write songs and poetry for friends and special occasions. She was accomplished at needle work and an excellent cook. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 17 at 1pm at Zoar United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Wood officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 until 9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, P.O.
