John Gino Marchetti, 64, of Exton, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the loving husband of Janet M. (Ellison) Marchetti, sharing 35 years of marriage.
Born in Oakland, California on July 31, 1956, he was the son of the late Gino and Floretta (Beck) Marchetti. John was employed as a Production Worker for Johnson Matthey. He was a member of St. Anthony's Lodge, Moose Lodge – Downingtown, and the American Legion in Broad Top, PA. John was a devoted husband, brother and uncle. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin, boating, and going fishing with his Dad. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his siblings Gina Burgess, Michelle Marchetti, Eric Marchetti; step-mother Joan Marchetti; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Ernie Marchetti and Kathleen Marchetti.
A celebration with family and friends will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
