JaNeen graduated from Central High School and attended Lockyear Business College. She was a church secretary at Oak Hill Presbyterian and First Baptist churches for many years. She was also a teacher assistant with EVSC and childcare provider.
She was a member of the Southern Hollow Dulcimer Group. She was a lifelong member of Oak Hill Presbyterian (now Oak Hill Bible Fellowship) Church, and was a member of the AIC class for 60 plus years. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
JaNeen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard A. Wilhite; daughters, Jennifer Brown (Greg), Crista Wallace both of Evansville, Susan Englert (Ed) of Wadesville; granddaughters, Julia Francis (Matt), Ashley Byble (Nick), Whitney Brown, and Meredith Brown; grandson, Jerad Wallace; granddaughters, Audrey Wallace and Mayli Englert; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Lindsey Brown.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2020 officiated by Dr. Greg Brown and Rev. Cliff Herring, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park.
