Lois Jean Goodin Hottinger, 79, of Phenix City, AL died at Columbus Piedmont, Northside, Columbus, GA on Friday, June 25, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM (EST) on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Lakeview Memory Gardens with Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Hottinger was born December 24, 1941 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late John Goodin and Leona Jamison Goodin.

She had retired after numerous years as a School Bus Driver for the Phenix City School System and was a member of Seale Road Baptist Church. Ms. Lois loved genealogy and was the "go to" person for information relating to who was connected to whom. She was a member of the Find-a-grave site for 15 years.. Her passion in life however were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her life! We will always cherish her love of family in our hearts.

Mrs. Hottinger was preceded in death by a son, Richard Gary Hottinger; and four siblings, Bob Goodin, John Goodin, Joann Leffler and Joan Reddish .

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Richard Hottinger, Phenix City, AL; three daughters, Tammy Jenkins (Cliff), Smiths Station, AL, Doris Ornstein, NY and Jennifer Miller (Robert), Phenix City, AL; many extended generations.
