Beesley is survived by his wife, two sons, brother and sister, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Gordon was a 19-year veteran of the Arvada Police Department where he served in various roles including motor officer, patrol, bike patrol, and school resource officer. Gordon was a drummer and played in past years for several notable bands including the Railbenders and Brethren Fast.
Officer Beesley and his family always took advantage of all aspects of the outdoors in Colorado: hiking, biking, skiing, and camping. Officer Beesley also enjoys playing the drums with his band, traveling, and learning.
