Ella Faye Pickens Abbott, 80 of Cypress, Texas formerly of Dumas, Arkansas passed away May 11, 2021 in Houston, Texas. She was born on March 18, 1941 in Briggsville, Arkansas to the late Franz and Margaret Ilene Cisco Pickens. She was also preceded in death by two infant siblings a sister Jackie and a brother Ronnie and two adult brothers Jimmy and Norman Pickens.

Faye was a member of Piney Baptist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and was owner and operator of Ella Faye's Beauty Salon for 12 years.

Survivors are her husband, Billy Abbott of Cypress, Texas; two sons, Charles Wayne Widmer of Conway, Arkansas and Greg Widmer of Woodland Hills, California; one daughter, Shary Fernandez of Fresno, California; five step-children, Scotty Abbott and Sheila Hurley both of Hazen, Arkansas, Julia McMurray of Birmingham, Alabama, Billy Abbott, Jr., of Jacksonville, Florida and Cassy Wade of Longville, Texas; three sisters, Betty Chambliss, Debbie Bates and Libby Chambliss all of Star City, Arkansas; and four brothers, Roger Pickens of Tillar, Arkansas, Paul Wayne Pickens of Star City, Arkansas, Gordon Pickens of Gould, Arkansas and Franky Pickens of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral held at 10 AM, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Pickens officiating and burial following at Tyro Cemetery. The family will gather after services for a meal at Garrett Bridge Assembly of God church, friends are welcomed.
