He was born June 19, 1923, in Dallas, to Dewie and Annie (Pratt) Allee. He lived most of his life in Watertown, Mass., where he raised his four sons with his wife of more than 50 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and Merchant Marines during World War II.
A.D. worked as an offset printer at Boston Army Base and Hanscom Field Air Force Base, Bedford, Mass.
He was a Mason, former Little League coach, and professional singer. He was a member of the VFW.
Members of his family include four sons, Albert "Don" Allee of Dearborn Heights, Mich., George and Weston Allee, both of Deerfield and John Allee of New York.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth (Musserian) Allee.
IN HIS LIFE: Mr. Allee enjoyed his grandchildren, Todd, Troy, George Junior, Lisa and Debbie. A.D. was always pleased to welcome his many great-grandchildren into the family. His family was always a source of hope and inspiration throughout his long life.
SERVICES: He requested no wake and a private burial service.
