He and his sister were left orphans at an early age and were reared by their grandparents. He finished high school at Oakland, Iowa and then attended business college in Des Moines. He was in business in Anita.
He was married December 28, 1910 to Adelaide Aldrich. They located in Harlan in 1921, where Mr Grace was a representative of the Walnut Grove Products of Atlantic.
His sister, Mrs Charles Jackson, preceded him in death in 1926. He is survived by his wife, one niece and three nephews.
Mr Grace was a member of the Congregational Church and had been a member of the Knights of Pythias and an Odd Fellow.
Funeral services were Tuesday July 28, at the Pauley Funeral Home, with Rev. E.J. Arnold, pastor of the Congregational Church, in charge.
Burial was at Anita.
