LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Aug. 12, 1982: 'Harold W. Hobbs, 1505 Harmon Terrace, Arlington, died Monday, Aug. 9, in Arlington. Services were scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, in Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington with the Rev. Lee Trussell officiating. Graveside services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Roxton with Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hobbs was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Roxton, a son of Yance and Daisy Hobbs. He had lived in Arlington for 23 years. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Ronald Wayne Hobbs of Fort Worth and Dana Ray Hobbs of Fort Worth; three daughters, Donna Louise Dent of Palestine, Kandra Kay Sutton of Fort Worth and Beverly Dearing of Arlington; one brother, Donald Hobbs of Lubbock; five sisters, Mrs. Willis Jackson of Roanoke, WV, Mrs. J.W. Hawkins of Lubbock, Mrs. Billy Hulsey of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Etola Hoover and Mrs. Maydelle Harrison, both of Lubbock; and 12 grandchildren.' There is an unmarked grave to the right of this grave.
