Elizabeth Mason was the youngest child of Major John Mason and his wife, Anne (Peck) Mason. She was married at Norwich, Jan. 1676/7, to Major James Fitch, the eldest son of the Reverend James Fitch and his first wife, Abigail (Whitfield) Fitch. Children of Major James Fitch and Elizabeth (Mason) Fitch:

i. James, b. Jan. 1677/8, d. soon thereafter.
ii. James, b. 7 June 1679.
iii. Jedediah, b. 17 April 1681; d. Nantucket, 20 Nov. 1756; m. Nantucket, 13 Sept. 1701, Abigail Coffin.
iv. Samuel, b. 12 July 1683; d. Hopewell, N.J., 1729; m. Mary _____.
