He is a comedian,his mother was late actress Etang DischerComic Film and TV Actor, and Singer. Born in Paco, Manila on February 25, 1925. He began his acting career in 1942 where he joined a vaudeville troupe called "Travel Stage Show" which performed in various theaters in Japanese-occupied Manila. In the mid-40s he signed a contract with Sampaguita Pictures. There he met his comic duo Dolphy and both starred in their first film " Sa Isang Sulyap Mo, Tita (1954) following other Filipino comedies " Kalabog en Bosyo (1959), Beatnik (1960), Pepe and Pilar (1966). Same with his partner Dolphy Quizon, he was also known for different parodical films like "Paenguin" (A parody of Batman's arch nemesis The Penguin) and supporting roles for other Filipino actors namely: Dencio Padilla, Nino Muhlach, Nida Blanca, Yoyoy Villame, and many more. On October 1995, Panchito suffered stroke that left him in comatose and two months later he died on December 15, 1995. In 2007, their song album- compilation, The Best Of Dolphy and Panchito was released which includes songs like: "WAIS, BASKETBOL, ARTISTA NA BONGGA PA, FAMILY PLANNING, etc.
