Funeral from her late residence 913 West Norweigian street, Monday at 2 p. m. Interment at Presbyterian cemetery. Funeral private.

Death of Mrs. James E. Rice
After an illness extending over a period of several years death visited the bedside of Mrs. Margaretta P., wife of James E. Rice, at 9 o'clock last evening. The dard angel found the patient sufferer ready for the mysterious journey, and now a large circle of fond relatives and friends mourn the loss of one of Pottsville's fairest daughters and most estimable young women. Mrs. Rice was the daughter of John O. Beck and was 32 years old. She was the mother of two interesting little daughters, who survive. Mrs. Rice was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, of truly christian spirit and amiable disposition. The sympathy of the whole communtiy goes out to the bereaved ones left behind.
