Rites Held For Miss Amy Robbins
Funeral services for Miss Amy Robbins, 57, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 15, in Howell-Doran Chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.W. Autry.
Burial was in Wallace Creek Cemetery under the direction of Howell-Doran Funeral Home.
Pallbearers included John W. McKown, Bobby Ratliff, Edgar Sanderson, George M. Sanderson, Gerald Ratliff and Charles Pierce.
Miss Robbins died Saturday, Aug. 14, at her residence at 503 S. Cherokee.
She was born Sept. 18, 1907, in San Saba county, the daughter of James M. Robbins and Minnie Robbins. She was a member of Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. William McNeil, Miss Effie Robbins, Mrs. Henry Ratliff, Mrs. Charles A. Crawford, all of San Saba, and Mrs. Floyd Adcock of Cisco; a number of nieces and nephews.
