Mrs. Hallie Alther Harris, 57, of 1408 B St. died this morning (January 30, 1968) at Waynesboro Community Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1911, in Nelson Co., a daughter of Mrs. Lillie Bowling Truslow and the late Austin Truslow. Mrs. Harris attended Lynside Mennonite Church. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Harris is survived by her husband, James Walter Harris of Waynesboro; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel L. Baber of Charlottesville, Miss Mable Harris of Waynesboro, Mrs. Mildred Bryant of Mankin, Miss Jean Harris of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Patricia Truslow of Afton; three sons, Charles Harris and Bobby Harris, both of Waynesboro, and George Harris of Minnesota.
Also, six brothers, Howe Truslow of Sherando, Howell Truslow and Henry H. Truslow, both of Stuarts Draft, Grafton Truslow and Arthur Truslow, both of Greenfield, and Owen Truslow of Waynesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Truslow of Greenfield, Mrs. Juanita Padgett of Lynchburg, and Mrs. Dolly Truslow of Richmond; 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body will remain at McDow-Tyree Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Hallie and James were married on November 22, 1933
