Karen Ann (Corcoran) Wilburn, 70, of Cranston, RI passed away on Thursday May 6, 2021.

She was the beloved daughter of Catherine Myers and Joseph L Corcoran, and cherished by her stepfather, Cloyd Myers.

She was married to David Wilburn and was a loving stepmother to Jessica (Wilburn) Reed, of San Tan Valley, Arizona, and Audrey Wilburn, of Scituate, Rhode Island.

Affectionately known as "Casey" by many, she will be forever remembered as a jovial, kind-hearted, thoughtful and generous person. She absolutely loved being a grandmother to Armando and Angelo Ricci, of Scituate, Rhode Island and Anneliese and Keith Reed and Taven Mahler of Arizona. She was the dear sister of Ellen Kendrick of Coventry, RI and Janet Delanuez of Providence, RI. Casey leaves behind many cousins and very close friends.

Raised in Providence and Warwick, she graduated from Pilgrim High School in 1968.

She spent much of her working years as an office manager for real estate development firms. In recent years, her greatest joy was the volunteer work she did conducting investigations for Find a Grave and communicating with the families who were seeking information on a loved one.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org. A graveside burial was held on Wednesday May 12 at Rhode Island Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at 301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822.
