Connie was born on September 11, 1957 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of Clifford and Polly (Foster) O'Dell. Connie worked as a CNA and later for many years as a teacher's assistant for the Adams School District. She enjoyed bird watching and chocolate ice cream. She never turned down a chance to have a Dairy Queen.
She is survived by her three sons, Eddie (Maegen) Johnson, Jr., Kristoffer (Jessica) Johnson, and Daniel (Stephanie Thorsen) Johnson; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson; five sisters, Gloria (Thomas) Giles, Alice (John) DeGusto, Helen Calderon, Judy Carroll, and Mary (Robert) Laughary; three brothers, Clifford "Mug" O'Dell, Jr., Thomas O'Dell and Michael (Patsy) O'Dell and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Polly O'Dell, one sister, Diane Redlin and one brother, Barry O'Dell.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Burial will be at Mt. Repose Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
