Donna Kay Harper, 72, Topeka, Kansas, went home to be with Lord on Thursday, April 29, 2021.
Donna was born September 24, 1948, in Hillsboro, Kansas, daughter of Ed and Alvina Beisel Bartel. She married in 1968; they later amicably divorced in 1998. Donna previously worked for the DA as a secretary in Midland, Texas and the LA County Sheriff's Department.
Donna is survived by her daughter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Delores Kerbs, Bud Bartel, Mary Crawford, JoAnn Flaming and infant brother Bobby Bartel; and son-in-law, Chris Salisbury.
Donna loved gardening, road trips, crafting, farmer's markets and being with friends and family.
Donna's memorial service will be celebrated in June.
