Shirley Mae Krieger (nee Dienes) formerly of Chicago and Ottawa, passed away peacefully April 21 in Naperville. Beloved wife of the late Guenther Krieger for 68 years. Born January 24, 1928 in Chicago, the daughter of Henry and Norma (nee Tully) Dienes. She is survived by daughters Anita, Annette (Jim) Poupa, Carol, Linda (John) Ertler; sons Chris, Randy (Regina), Matt (Lori), and Pete (Wendy). Adored grandmother of 17, great grandmother of 17, great great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of Norma Joan (the late Ronald) Ofenloch; sister-in-law of Gertrude (the late Edward) Zegler and the late Rosa (the late Henry) Kobie. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughters, Janiece and Cecelia and son Scott. Interment will be held privately at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois at a later date.
