Tony was born on June 24, 1943 in Moline, the son of Harold Anthony and Doris Harriet (Lindholme) Fisher, Sr. He married Linda Lee McMillan on September 14, 1963 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on February 20, 1984.He married Martha Elizabeth Martin McKay on April 15, 1992 in Rock Island, IL.
Tony graduated from Alleman High School in 1961. He finished his Electrical Apprenticeship at Rock Island Lines, Silvis, IL. He then was employed for 30 years as an Electrician at John Deere Plow, Plow Planter & Seeding Division, retiring in July, 1998. Tony was an avid bicycle rider and runner, biking thousands of miles a year and running the Bix7 26 times. He like to spend winters in Dunedin, FL and enjoyed traveling, especially to Germany, Alaska, and the Caribbean. Tony's love of life will live on through his family and friends who all are blessed by having him in their life.
Survivors include his wife, Martha, sons and daughters-in-law, Keith (Sharon) Fisher, Robert (Lisa) Fisher; step-son, Kevin (Rhonda) McKay; grandchildren, Kaitlynn, (Adam) Blais, Ian Fisher, Michael (Holly) Fisher, Jeffery (fiancée, Jessica) Fisher; step-granddaughter, Taelor (Andrew) Allen; step-grandson, Seth (fiancée, Brittany) McKay; great-grandson, Leo Fisher, 4 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Robin Lynn Fisher.

Rapids City-- Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fisher had a birthday party this week for their grandson, Tony Fisher, aged 2. The boy and his mother are making their home with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Fisher. His father, Cpl. Harold Fisher, is in Belgium. A decorated birthday cake featured the luncheon.
