Melinda was a hero. She hoed a tough row and came out standing. Most people would have quit. She was a respectful child and a caring adult. Life is not with out ups and downs. Level was a rare option for Mindy and she was such a joy to be around on those happy days. Sadly down always followed up, yet she always came up. Following down, Mindy and I had some of our best conversations. Her planning was logical and thought out. Reality never seemed to be as fruitful as the plan, for Mindy's cycles would take her over and down she would go again.

It was sad, heartbreaking to watch. Hard headed? Yes I suppose so. You would be too were you to undergo 1/3 of Mindy's trials. The world must look terrifying viewed through continual cycles of mania, severe depression and migraines. Hero? She was a superstar!

In her last days, briefly, life was going her way. She bought each of her friends presents and made certain these were delivered. A real treat. Then came the end. She left this world all alone with no one to comfort her. That is unfair, unwarranted and miserable. That is looking back.

Where Mindy looked forward from deaths door, I know she saw Angels and those Angel Spirits welcomed her to a place where there is no pain and everlasting love and joy! She and her Mother are together in a place where everything works, everything lasts and love is visible just as blue sky is visible here.

God Speed Melinda.
I love you very much! Dad.

March 26, 2022 This must be included. I remember Mindy reading from readers digests magazine at age three. Mindy in school was super smart. She was promoted from 2nd grade to 3rd then 4th grade, same school year. Her mother later felt the promotion of her intellect skills was a detriment to social development. It is a shame such a brilliant child was lost trying to succeed. I am sure she is at the head of her class now. Godspeed!

Mindy's ashes will be spread in Sanctuary Cove in NW Tucson, Az. It is a place of quiet rest. Fitting, really. She will like it there with her mother.
