Ana Alicia McDew, 24, died on Oct. 26, 2007, at Martin Memorial Medical Center-North in Stuart. She was born in Seoul, Korea, and lived in Indian River, St. Lucie and Palm Beach counties.

She attended Highlands Elementary School and Oslo Middle School in Indian River County. She graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School in the Class of 2001. She also was a cheerleader there. She was attending Palm Beach Community College, pursuing a registered nurse degree. She was employed at North Lake Animal Hospital in West Palm Beach as a veterinarian technician.

Survivors include her fiancé, Ron Harry of Port St. Lucie; son, James Kenneth Logan of Port St. Lucie; her father, Willie L. McDew Jr. of Martin County; her mother, Ha Sun Hong-McDew of Kusan, South Korea; brothers, Willie Leo McDew III of Miami, Ta'Quan Raynal McDew of Wabasso and Ja'Quan Larent of Fort Pierce; sisters, Willet Nicole McDew of Tallahassee and Brianna Marissa McDew and Briasia Kin-Sha-Sha McDew, both of Fort Pierce; grandparents, Dorothy and Roy Harris of Vero Beach, and Willie L. McDew Sr. of Fort Pierce; and great-grandparents, Cozutter Schofield and Elizabeth Bucks, both of Vero Beach.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 2 at New Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Gifford. A celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Nov. 3 at the church with Bishop John A. Thorne, officiating.
