In 1870, Julia Aveling, aged 32, was living in Boston, Massachusetts, post office South Boston, with her husband, Edgar Aveling, aged 33, and son, Charles Edward Aveling, aged 7, and George Graham, aged 15. Her husband was shown to be a sign painter.

In 1880, Julia Aveling, aged 39, was living at 879 East Fourth Street, Boston, Massachusetts, with her husband, Edgar Aveling, aged 49, and son, Charles E. Aveling, aged 18. Her husband was shown to be an ornamental painter.

Obituary - Aveling - In South Boston, October 12, Julia A., widow of the late Edgar Aveling, 59 years, 9 months. Funeral from the residence of her son, Charles E. Aveling, 194 N. St., on Sunday, October 14, at 2 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. New York papers please copy.
