Charlie Albert Ligon was one of the oldest citizens of Talbot County, Ga...having lived there for over 70 years. He raised his family, and ran a logging business for some time, as well as being a school bus driver for some time for the Talbotton school system.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Albert Ligon and Effie Jewel Storey; his first wife, Sylvia Estelle Roberts; his second wife, Madie Gilson; four brothers, Paul Ligon, Jessie Clifford Ligon, James Robert Ligon, William Winston Ligon; one sister, Mary Jewel Ligon; and one grandchild, Micheal Burgess.
