Ossie was born in 1889 to William Theopholus and Frances A Barnett Boren. He married Viola May Poe on December 22, 1909 at Altus, Jackson County, Oklahoma. Ossie's brother, Henry Cleveland Boren (1879-1957) was the husband of Dora Lee Conn (1889-1927), who was May's halfsister. The 1910 Federal Census, in Navajo, Jackson County, Oklahoma states they had been married four months and didn't have any children. The 1920 Federal Census for Cleveland, Little River, Arkansas has a May Boren age 36 and a William T Boren age 31. Do not know if Ossie ever went by any other names but the ages fit and others have commented on census that they think this is Ossie and May. It does have him born in Arkansas with parents being born in Mississippi as well as May's birth info as correct. Due to the lack of records for this time period, do not know what happened to Ossie or where he may be buried.
