Reinterred from Presbyterian Church CemeteryJames Adams is credited with having established the first printing house in Delaware in 1761. He learned the trade in Londonderry before arriving in this country and worked for several years in Philadelphia with the Franklin and Hall printers. James started Wilmington first newspaper "The Wilmington Courant" about 1762. James with the help of his son, Samuel was responsible for the publication of several of Delaware's earliest newspapers, as well as, many famous manuscripts and books.

Perhaps he was removed to Wilmington and Brandywine Cemetery
